Material Compatibility & Safety
Compatible Materials
Most common metals (copper, brass, steel) and plastics are suitable in dry systems. At high temperatures, use stainless steel or Inconel.
Materials to Avoid
Avoid alloys with >2% magnesium (certain aluminium alloys). Do not use natural rubber in hoses/gaskets. Reacts violently with alkali/alkaline earth metals (sodium, potassium).
Oil Compatibility
Compatible with Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG) oils. Mineral oil (MO) and Alkyl Benzene (AB) oils are not compatible and must be replaced during retrofitting.
